13th February: Saturday’s Football Accumulator – 7/1

With this weekend s stacked schedule opening up again on Saturday afternoon, we have another host of noteworthy meetings from across the continent. On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a Saturday acca, we have searched far and wide to find you a handful of helpful tips.

Saturday 13th February

BST 15:00 Grimsby vs Tranmere Rovers

After being left stunned by that shock 1-0 loss against relegation scrappers Stevenage on the road in midweek, Tranmere should be smelling a golden chance to make an immediate return to winning ways. Still shocking many across League Two since opening the New Year, Keith Hill s side now have a third-tier return at the top of their agenda. Despite dealing with a string of off-field issues last year, the Whites open this weekend s fixtures sat with just their goal difference keeping them outside the automatic spots. Despite that blip on their travels earlier in the week, the former Bolton boss has seen his side collect a remarkable 18 points from just their last seven League Two matchups. With just a single defeat to their name since the start of January, it s well worth keeping an eye out for the red-hot James Vaughan this weekend. Recording 19 goals across all competitions so far this season, the former Everton striker also has six in his last six appearances. However, while Tranmere might find themselves battling in the promotion chase, the same cannot be said for Saturday s hosts. In the midst of a continued crisis, Grimsby have freefallen their way to the foot of the table. Losing their last three straight matchups on the bounce and with just two points in their last nine contests, we re backing an away victory in Lincolnshire.

Tip: Tranmere Rovers win @ 11/10

15:15 Sevilla vs Huesca

Starting with Saturday s hosts, putting in another hugely impressive performance on home soil in midweek, there is no doubt that the mood in Sevilla s camp should be at a red-hot high. Shocking many across Spain and landing a deserved 2-0 win against Barcelona while on Copa del Rey duties, Los Palanganas have gained a string of plaudits on either side of the festive break. Also managing to book their spot in the knockout stage of this year s Champions League and with a showdown against Borussia Dortmund on the cards, Julen Lopetegui s men are in the midst of quite the winning run. With just a single defeat across any format to their name since way back on December 5th, the one-time Spain boss has seen his side win each of their last eight straight contests on the bounce. Also, last seen on top-flight duties landing a 3-0 romp against Getafe, Sevilla have really caught the eye with their continued displays at the back. Including a clean sheet against Barcelona in midweek, Saturday s hosts have not picked the ball out of their own net since January 19th. On the flip side, while Huesca might have put on a plucky display against Real Madrid last week, the top-flight returners are in the midst of a real relegation battle. Still sat rooted at the foot of the table, Azulgranas have managed to win just one of their last 10 contests across all formats. Suffering a 1-0 loss when they faced off against Sevilla in the reverse fixture, we re backing a similar outcome this weekend.

Tip: Sevilla win under five goals @ 7/10

17:00 Napoli vs Juventus

While they may have played out a 0-0 stalemate against Inter Milan in midweek, Juventus did book their spot in the final of this year s Coppa Italia and they are a side who appear to be enjoying a recent purple patch. In the end, securing a 2-1 aggregate win over I Nerazzurri, Andrea Pirlo s side now have their sights set on mounting a late charge to defend their Serie A crown. With attacking talisman Cristiano Ronaldo turning 36 last weekend and enjoying yet another free-scoring run, the former Italian icon has seen his squad really bounce back from that 2-0 Serie A loss against Inter last month. Now in the midst of a seven-match unbeaten run across all formats and winning six of those contests, the Old Lady also have a Champions League knockout tie against Porto fast approaching. Arguably enjoying their brightest spell under Pirlo, it should also be highlighted that Juve have conceded just a single goal on their seven-match unbeaten run. On the flip side, crashing out of the Coppa Italia thanks to a 3-1 drumming away at Atalanta in midweek, Napoli find themselves in the midst of another worrying patch. Also, last seen on Serie A duties getting hit with a shock defeat against Genoa, the Blues are now in a real battle to extend their stay in the European positions. With Juventus lifting the Super Cup thanks to a 2-0 win against Napoli last month, we re backing a similar away victory this weekend.

Tip: Juventus win under five goals @ 11/8
