According to a report from Sky Sports, Mario Balotelli is set to have a medical with Marseille today. The controversial forward has slipped down the ranks at Nice, despite the fact that he’s had his best goals to game ratio in years with the French club. Neil Lennon has left Hibernian by mutual consent, the Scottish Premiership side have confirmed.

Lennon, who was appointed in June 2016, and assistant Garry Parker were not in the dugout for Sunday s 3-1 win at St Mirren after being suspended.

And Hibs announced on Wednesday the duo will not be returning to their posts.

They have not been dismissed and have not resigned, said a club statement. The suspension, put in place to allow an internal review, was lifted by the club as part of this agreement.

Despite widespread speculation, the club confirms that neither Neil nor Garry has been guilty of any misconduct or wrongdoing and no disciplinary process has been commenced.

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Manchester United have made an opening bid in an attempt to sign Jadon Sancho.

Alas, the report also indicates that Borussia Dortmund aren’t willing to budge on their transfer valuation of the Englishman which is currently sitting at around £82 million. The price tag has been described as non-negotiable with the clubs, supposedly, being around £11 million apart in their valuation.

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka was forced off with injury against Nottingham Forest, adding to England s fitness concerns ahead of the World Cup.

Saka created Gabriel Martinelli s fifth-minute opener on Sunday at Emirates Stadium, becoming the third-youngest player to 20 Premier League assists (aged 21 years and 55 days).

Celtic manager Neil Lennon tried to focus on the positives following his team s 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Europa League.

The Scottish Premier League side, reinstated to European competition following Sion s expulsion, were undone by goals from Atletico s new signings Radamel Falcao and Diego.

Despite the loss, Lennon believes the scoreline was not an entirely fair reflection on his team s performance at Estadio Vicente Calderon.

I felt we could have played a little bit higher up the pitch in the first half, Lennon said.
